Off topic, but…

Revkin resigns and you have no comment?

Come on! Enough with the holidays! Get to work! ;-)

Happy holidays to all.

This old Dutch skating painting from Breughel the Younger can be transplanted today where many parts look now the same. First skating of the season already happened here in Holland.

As almost every old painting this has a deeper allegoric meaning. Skating paintings have the subtitle "Lvbericitas vitae humanae" (The slippery path of human life) with always danger around the corner (here see the bird trap on the right).

Cheers

Ah, the good old days of the Little Ice Age!

Merry Christmas to all the good little girls and boys, and a lump of coal in Phil Jones' stocking. ;-)

Merry Christmas, Roger. And to your dad.

What? You couldn't find an old Nordic wood carving of harvest season in Greenland?

;-)

Happy Holidays!

Roger,

First Revkin, now Galbraith!

OMG! What’s going on at the NYT? Have they FINALLY seen the light (at least with respect to so-called “Global Warming”)?

Roger - It’s not too late to switch teams and announce that you too have seen the light. You can make it your New Year’s resolution to embrace reason!

Come on Roger! Put down that Egg Nog and get to work!

;-)

Great painting choice. I used the same picture for the cover of my book (A Cold Look at Global Warming), since it illustrates best the Little Ice Age period. Happy holidays!
